Default In-dash DVD player

Which of the dvd players is the best? Clarion, Alpine, Kenwood, or Pioneer? Which has the best image, quality, and clarity?

I think the Alpine has by far the best picture... but as far as anything else i'd say the kenwood 911/915 takes the cake, since it's touchscreen they lack the pixels alpine was able to use but it's a badass flipscreen

Yep the kenwood's touchscreen goes for pretty cheap........cheaper than the pioneer touch screen....But like you said the picture could be better, If you want touchscreen with good pictuer get the pioneer.

I almost won an auction on the kenwood.....which was going for like 700 bux but i lost

But I'm real happy with the quality of my pioneer, but no touchscreen .....Its alrite its only for the bling factor anyway whos gonna touch the screen while your driving

to me, the brand new Eclipse AV8553 is probably the best unit.

The Alpine is by far the Best Screen on the Market Hands down. They many outputs for control, the million pixel count. I mean it has everything and will do everything.

The Eclipse would be my 2nd favorite just because I like the Eclipse warranty. When spending that much money on a product its nice to have a 3 year warranty.

Best Bang for the Buck I think is the Clarion VRX935. Touchscreen.. 7" .. DVD,MP3,CD,VCD , Sirius. and we sell it for around 1600 which is not bad compared to the others

But I think one of the best combos (if you have a double din or 2 din spots somewhere up front) is the Alpine CVA-1006.. Audiovox DVD player that will play MP3,DVD,VCD,CD and you can get both of those for $1000.00.. Which isn't bad to get it all and if you have a spot for a Double Din its cake.

But those are just some of the ones I sell.

Heres a couple of pics of some video sales I sold.

2004 Escalade ESV

2003 GMC Denali

So Alpine is top quality? Is it worth $2500?

Ok but seriously, two flipscreens and 3 more tv's really ISN'T necessary and the two flipscreens is just a bit tacky in that cadillac

2 Flip Downs in the Cadillac I am confused. There is only 1 drop down and thats for the rear seat.. Its actually very useful and not tacky if you think about it.

How much fun would it be to watch the headrest TV infront of you instead of just putting a drop down in the roof for the 3rd Bench. That TV is only used when someone is in the last seat.. To me its not tacky at all and is very useful.

And the Denali is just tight. He wanted Screens n every headrest and up front. All the above video installs have very much use to them and are just not stuck in tacky spots.

I don't like when people do that either. Or what makes more mad than that is when people do a Muti Screen setup with a Bunch of CHEAP monitors.. Like SOme ICON-TV's are some TCView Screens.. Gotta love them 3 pixel TVs..

And yes the Alpine is well worth the 2300 bucks. But Eclipse Owns on Warranty.

Because to some people VCD is pretty important. I mean comeon a 165.00 Audiovox DVD player plays VCD's come on Eclipse get with it.

Some people love to have Navigation.. Eclipse's Nav is Horrible.

And alot of my customers who do more than one TV want them to match and Eclipse's Stand Alone Monitors are not ver headrest Friendly.

But the price and the Warranty are Awesome and so is the fact Eclipse is the ONLY one with a 8 Volt output.
