Going for stealth. I want to make everything as invisible as possible for theft reasons. I mean, unless you know, are you really gonna look behind a sail panel for amps?
From what I remember there is a ton of room in there

rammat makes an awesome sound deflector material called ensolite its on their site. line the inner door skin with that after a couple of layers of sound deadning. it helps stop the sound reflections off the door skin panel. I've had alot of good experience with using it or materials close to it. helps clear up the midrange between 250hz- 1.5khz... plus accurate midbass 80hz-120hz
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yeah keep thinking about trying that stuff. Gonna order a half box of raamat tomorrow, and I think 30 sq ft should be enough for the doors, but I'll see how it goes once it gets here

Little bit of an update. Ran the 1/0 back to the trunk, ran wires in to the doors for door locks, and ran dual runs of shielded twisted 14 gauge in to the doors as well. Don't worry I put the grommet on the body and will be sealing everything with some sort of silicone or sealant. Pics -

The thing that sucks is that I forgot to add a hoodpin wire to the loom, but oh well, I'm going to have to run more lines forward for the radar jammer anyways. Tomorrow I'll probably start tagging wires for the alarm.
Oh and btw, not sure if I mentioned it earlier or not, but the speaker lines are all ran to the quarter panel because that's where I'm going to be installing the 3 amps.

i always see ppl half *** that part... good to see a thought out install

Well it's about a million times easier with the fender off
Any recommendations for a good sealer? Would some sort of outdoor caulking suffice?

Alright, got some more work done tonight -
Got the other 4 gauge ran to the fusebox, so now I have one 1/0g, one 4g, and two dual 14 guage's ha ha

Started tagging wires for the alarm -
Here's a before picture of sorts -

Cut the tape and peeled back the split loom on the upper portion of the ignition harness. Theoretically this will be a lot harder to get to, but I can't remember exactly how it sits with the dash on. It will look stock, and I main on running a few "extra" wires in to the lower ignition harness just to expletive with people

Starting to solder and tape things up -

All back together in the factory loom -

The alarm I'm installing has ignition and starter kill, so that's why there are 4 wires.
Always make sure to tag your wires so you know what's what after you tape things back up. I've learned this lesson the hard way ha ha -

How she sits after getting some other **** done -

looking good... silcon works well for sealing i've found.. plus its easy to remove in case you have to re wire or re install something.
i'm doing a sub comparo with my current alumapro alchemy, 2nd gen boston pro 12.5lf, and a jl audio w7. all of them are in built to spec enclosures.
been using chris isakk forever blue cd to tune.

I've heard a w7 once and didn't like it. Wasn't a very musical woofer, was just loud.
Boston pro stuff is good ****

Ok. Time for more.
Had to take the fender off anyways, so I took a picture of the sealed door grommet -

Where I started tonight -

Decided to use the side shock tower bracket for the mount for my ground. Might have to move it, but not a big deal. Ground everything down with a wire brush wheel -

The final product, for now anyways. Will build a box around the battery once I get the car to work (have a table saw etc there).
