Default alternator for 98 civic

hi im new here and i think my alternator went out....plus i need a new one b/c im going to upgrade my system in my car to 2 12s and some door speakers so i need a pretty decent alternator that can handle that id also like to keep it around/below $250 if possible thanx in advance!

o just wonderin some other ppl had been telling me for the 2-3 amps i was getting i may need another alternator 1 for door speakers 137w to 4-ch and 2 1000w mono amps for the 2 12s

why??? you could fabricate a a bracket for another alternator similar to what they do in limousines. buy some yellow top optima batteries and put them in the trunk, along with some big capacitors prolly 10 farad, and MAYBE the lights wont dim.
