i have had an alpine deck in the past and now i have a kenwood and im not saying that alpine sucks because it is a very good brand,but i think most their decks are way over priced and they all look very similar, and when you compare the two (kenwood and alpine) they have almost all the same features and functions, i think it all depends on peoples taste and price range and what they are looking for in a deck, im happy with my kenwood and enjoy it a lot more than the alpine, but thats just all my own personal opinion...

This feature is called i-Personalize and is available on the 9831, 9833, and 9835.

I have the 9835 and personally find it just as easy to adjust the settings directly in the head unit once you get used to it.

I prefer Alpine HU's not only for their great sound quality but for the relatively simple and uncluttered design. For this, I guess some people would view them as boring and indistinct. The faceplate of the Kenwood model shown in this thread gives me a headache just looking at it. To each his own.

 

I do all the service work and sending in units under warranty and taking care of customers product when it goes bad.. I would never buy a Pioneer Unit if my life depended on it.. I have sent in at least 14 of them this month. Ad we don't eeven sell alot.. We sell tons of Eclipse radios plus they have a warranty longer than any other brand and I have sent 2 Eclipse Radios in, in the last 6 months.. I have had alot of locked up units but that was a the user's mistake not the radio..

Yeah pioneer ownz until that bottom face quits motorizing and the face goes dead and radio will not work.. Its a cool radio just I would not own one due to the fact that I have sent many of those off to service..
