i just tried a kenwood mp3 player, a really nice looking one with simple features, it make my alpine sound like ****


for that price i could only get a mediocre alpine cd player

ok alpine doesnt suck, but they are not what people make them out to be

Well everyone has a right to their own opinion but let me ask you this. Could it be that maybe you just don't know how to work the Alpine? They are a bit more intricate than most head units who only have a bass, treble, balance, and fade ****.

 

Alpine makes some great video products, speakers, and good amps for mids and highs. But with that being said, I don't like a majority of there decks either.

Personally, I never liked the styling of Alpine decks, and they're all pretty much the same as far as looks, so it's hard to get away from that part. They're also extremely expensive compared to a lot of other headunits. That being said, I do appreciate the quality of alpine equipment, as i use an alpine amp for my subwoofer. I chose a pioneer deck though because I felt that the quality was also superb, and I liked the styling on it much more.

Lol you retard.. the only thing kenwood could ever consider as an advantage over alpine is that they have the DMASK hide option. I used to run a kenwood til my eyees were opened to the Alpine ownijj... Kenwoods Display is crap, their mp3 browsin is crap, their decks are straight face so if you are tall like me and in a truck or anything other than a car you cant even see the text due to the poor lighting kenwood has. Alpine decks (at least the none cheapo ones) have angle adjustment... Also alpine has MX (media xpander) which owns any deck right there....i was reading your post about tweeters and condesnors and have come to the conclsuion that you know JACK about car audio... ur like the kid at the end of my street who has a ford focus and 2 sony xplod subs and thinks hes gangsta... what a joke.... go buy ur kenwood and enjoy ur 2volt preouts and ur dmask which if anyone can see more than 3 feet they can tell your face is still in the car...

most new Kenwood, you can adjust the angle also. so don't sit there like a dumbass complaining that you cant see correctly if you don't know how to use the features. nowadays more and more people are begining to know about dmask. very true. The SQ on a Kenwood will not be better then an Alpine player. Most of the competitors in SQ use Alpine but I don't know of a single person who is sucessfull with a Kenwood unit.

i can't get any good alpines in my country, it was only a cjoce between this some clarions pioneers and one alpine that cost more than all of them but didnt even play mp3s


anyway as i said alpine doesnt suck in my opinion far from it i just thought all other brands were crap but they are not

i like my kenwood and will try a premeir soon, i actually bought the premeir but after thinking of the kenwood looking all mature in the store i went back to exchange!


still trying to locate an alpine radio and mp3 changer but cant find any!

pfft...not only can alpine do that but you can go on alpine-usa.com and set all your time correction settings and deck into text then burn it to a cd, stick it in, and it updates your deck to your settings... OWNED

hehe, actually i did this to kind of find out how people realy feel about alpine and some of the features i didnt know about, well so far ive learnt alot! i still like my kenwood though, but i will be saving up for an alpine, maybe 2 years i can get one that plays mp3s
