You will only need the yellow lead in the ribbon wire to the satellite relay pack if you are not doing remote start, depin all the other leads and connect the yellow to a true ign. source.

And after that the alarm should be able to come on right?

And after that the alarm should be able to come on right?</TD></TR></TABLE> Not necessarily. the yellow lead is ign. input, it is needed for a number of things, it is not needed for the alarm to work, [it has no power when ign. is off], for the alarm to work you need the main constant power, [red] and the ground, [black] connected, at that point the remote will work, [if programed] connect the siren and it will chirp when you arm and disarm, connect up the park lights and they will flash, connect up the door lock relays and actuators and the doors will lock and unlock, plug in the LED it will flash, connect the door pins hood and trunk/hatch and plug in the impact sensor and you have alarm triggers.
None of the above need the yellow lead connected to work, but if you want to do programing or be able to turn the alarm off, [if the remote stops working] and a few other thing, you need the yellow connected.

dude you know what your talking about
.. lol and yeah, the ignition (yellow wire) also resests "nuisance prevention" everytime you turn the car to "on"... and when armed if you try to start the car or put in the the "on" position the alarm siren will go off (if connected like fcm said).

I hooked everything up and it seems like theres no signal to the alarm. Is there a way yo program the remote to the alarm? Cause it seems like its not getting any signal.
The reason I ask this cause my friend said the once the positive and negative is hooked up to the correct spot the brain should at least click over and make a noise, but for some odd reason it doesn't do that. Any ideas?

Yes you can program the remote... http://www.directeddealers.com...5.pdf page 34.
First check to see if alarm is operational, see if it will go into valet mode turn ign. on then off then within 10 sec. press and release the valet/program button, the status LED on the dash should come on solid and stay on, turn ign. on and off again, press and release the valet/program button again to exit valet mode the LED should go out.
If the above is not happening you have something miswired or there is a problem with the alarm.
