add-on remote python start
Well unless the code alarm has a "remote start EXT output" you are going to have to install a relay or two. One on the alarms ign. line, and one on the impact sensor trigger line.
Check your owners/install guide for EXT output programing, see if it has a remote start output mode.

How do I wire in 2 relay to bypass the ign. alarm wire and the impact sensor. I've looked under the dash to check out what model of codealarm system I have, but I have nothing to reference to except the sticker on the window. So i don't know if it has remote option output.
the code alarm unit should have a switched aux output via a 3rd button on the remote.. this is all that is needed to trigger the python to start... all other wiring is via the python unit... code alarm has used several different manufacturers in the past to make their products, so their wiring schemes are never consistent, though i know in the past they have used orange or blue/white for this aux output.
it will be as simple as seeing which wire pulses + or - when the 3rd button (aux) is pressed. do this with your dmm, though if you are this far i dont think i need to tell you how to use this...

any 12v constant source which is high current. the white wire in the main steering column harness will work fine.
as for 2 button remote, try pressing both buttons... try pressing and holding each button....if this does nothing, then odds are that you cant use your existing unit with the add-on...

Although an EXT output will trigger the remote start, [and the CodeAlarm will have at least one, trunk] if a relay is not installed to open the alarms ign. input and the impact sensors trigger line, alarm will trigger as soon as remote start is activated, unless alarm is disarmed, and using the alarms EXT output will will limit remote start range.
Better to use the remote starts remote control and "status output", [ground out when running] to control the relay(s), status output energizes relay(s) opening the 2 circuits, alarm does not see ign. input, so does not trigger, alarm does not see impact sensor trigger, [vibration from motor starting] alarm does not trigger.
Even if you use the alarms EXT output, with it's limited range, you will still have to install relay(s).
Best solution is a combo unit, but you can make it work with a relay, DPDT or 2 SPDT.

Considering the complexity of getting this to work, and the low quality of the Code Alarm brand, you should just replace the alarm with a DEI remote start alarm as previously suggested. Price difference between the add-on module and a whole new alarm w/remote start probably isn't too great.
I'm willing to bet that if you do get it to work with the Code Alarm, two things will happen. One, it will suck, and two, it will stop working in a short amount of time.

Go here... http://webappshttp.voxdmz.audi...&desc= and click on install manual and tell me if the alarm looks like that, same number and colors of wires plugged into the same places.

PS, CodeAlarm, [the name] is now owned by Audiovox and a CodeAlarm is just a Audiovox/Prestige alarm with a diff. sticker, and although inexpensive it is still a very dependable product.

Thanks fcm. The alarm does not look like that. I've searched the FCC website and found the schematic on my codealarm, but the schematic is too hard to understand. The layout of the CA110 is very similar
All you need to know is which one is the ign. input, [pink??] and which one is the impact trigger lead, do you have a link to the wiring for yours?

At the FCC website search for M65NVR4140, this is the FCC ID at the back of codealarm. You'll find everything about the codealarm. The Ign input I believe is blk/yel, as for impact sensor I'd have to do digging.
The link for FCC website is http://www.gullfoss2.fcc.gov/p...h.cfm
the link again is https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod...h.cfm
Well according to this... https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod...f=pdf the EXT 1 output can be used for remote engine start, [gray wire] #25.
