Thank you everyone for the compliments.. I wish I had more pictures to post, but theres not much to see, the strut towers are cut out and there's a lot of welding going on with those and the roll cage. Not much fun.. Will post soon.

should have a big update soon.. been saving pics. the car isnt in my possession at the moment though so its hard to update daily.

so, my car was completely stripped to the bare metal to fix a lot of body work i wasnt happy with and because it had been re sprayed twice. glad i did, because the body shop did a lot of FILLER work and no real body work. I met an old guy that is an AMAZING metal guy and does top notch body work so i've brought him on board and we are at it for round 2.

i got brand new fenders, bumpers, and a hood from the dealership.

Stripped my doors to find a ridiculous amount of filler.. SO glad i decided to strip the car for the re-build.

got the skin down to the bare metal.

and the REAL body guy doing what he does getting the doors straight again.

the build has so much more potential on round 2 to be better than it could have ever been the first time.

have parts piled, and a lot of things i want to do, just waiting on the fabricator at the moment. doors will be finished up tomorrow and the rest of the brand new OEM panels are already here. just gotta get the car.

got the door skimmed out from all the hammer/dolly work. ready for a coat of high build primer and some block sanding although its a large area, the door was brought out smooth enough that the thickest filler isnt even as thick as a dime.

Damn this is like a full-blown 100% restore, like some old muscle car guys do. Pretty crazy.. How much were the OEM parts (fenders, hood, bumpers)?

rougly 950 dollars for front and rear bumper, both fenders, and a hood.

the roof skin was like 360 dollars and obviously i had to pay the body shop to cut the old one out and put this one in.
