This is cool. I really like how you are stipping the car back to bare metal and starting over. I am doing the same thing on my EG. I also really like how you had the doors straightened out. You just cannot beat good old fashioned craftsmanship.
Keep up the high quality.

Re: Weak!EG's re-build thread.
got the driver door in primer, and blocked it out twice with 400 grit.. turned out soo slick. will go over it one final time with 600 grit when its time to paint the car.
got started stripping the passenger door, it wasn't nearly as bad off as the driver.
almost there.
also, got started on prepping the insides of the doors for the respray. i'm not sure why the body shop left the centers red, but i wont be this time

I hate when you read through several pages of a build thread hoping that the build has been completed and you can reach that final page and see a finished product only to see...doors being stripped. Great thread so far and am def. subscribing! Push the envelope!

Re: Weak!EG's re-build thread.
i wish i had a finished product to post.. i havent seen the car but once in the past 6 months other than cell phone pictures from the fabricator. I'm hoping by the end of january to have some really serious updates to post (:
december is gonna be a busy month for me and i doubt i have much time to work on it.

Re: Weak!EG's re-build thread.
Got the front 1/2 of my interior harness back from the homie!..
Mod List:
Re sleeved in nylon braided loom.
Deleted factory ecu plugs.
Added a plug to passenger side for headlight harness extension. (in EG's the pass side is wired into harness and driver side is on a plug)
Moved the ignition plug from driver side to passenger side so i dont have to use a jumper harness to reach.
