Weak!EG's re-build thread.
Finished scraping the bottom for the most part, all thats really left is to go around all the seams with the drill/wire wheel and finish getting the seam sealer out to make it completely smooth.

THENNNNNNN, i had to get a start on fixing an old mistake. When i first bought the car a few years ago i took it completely apart and sprayed undercoating on the whole interior. With the quality i'm hoping to achieve i decided it had to come off. LUCKILY i had already done the whole rear section of the car, and the roof panel is brand new and didnt have any on it. Oh, and i sprayed it over the factory "tar" mats. So, i dry iced them out and that helped a lot too.

Fixing old mistakes isn't fun.. Another day and a half and it should be cleaned up and ready for some primer.

oh yeah, i remember when you sprayed it with thye undercoating. I assume your going to spray the chassis the same color as the car? If so you should spray a chip guard spray on top of the clear coat. So it doesnt get chipped from gravel and road debris.
this car wont be there.. Still a lot to do.
12 hours of polishing over 2 days and i bet aload of frineds to find a scrath or swirl mark.......it wouldn't be the same if i had payed someone to do it, thats why we are all in the scene surely. isn't it......
thats why i hate/love all those baller looking cars in cali, they all seem to have just had money thrown at them yeah they look amazing but its not about the final product for me ....
i honestly didn't mean that to sound so philosophical lol.
BUILT NOT BOUGHT ftw.
i'm really puzzled as to what you are doing with the underside of this car though, are you taking the underseal off, or making it smooth.
sorry to sound like a dummy but body side of things is new to me.
it may be a U.S thing but i don't know what blocking is either, is that just using a hand sander machine and taking the paint back to get a smooth finish for primer. i say is that "just" but i know its not simple.

PPG makes a formula that u can spray in the clear that serves the same purpose
