Duplicolor is just a brand. They have many different types of paint. If you use their high-temp engine enamel, then yes, it will work. If you used the trim paint like I did, then no, it won't work.

as long as theres some slack in the wire betwwen plugs and its crimped properly, he'll have no problem with a connection vibrating loose. If he decides to leave them, they can be wrapped to kill the concern of moisture.
keep up the work on the build

***UPDATE 6/19/06***

I went out and got some flange's for the test pipe that I now have to make! The Omni Power seller backed out, so I gotta fab up my own! I had a little trouble finding them, but got them at Napa! Who'da thunk it?

I immediately have a problem though. The donut gasket on the header (or whatever it's called) makes the flange stick out quite a bit!

The Flange:

The Donut Gasket:

And, putting the two together:

I think that all it needs is to be tightened down REAL tight with the exhaust bolts. Wudya think?

Here's a pic of the flange on the header without the donut gasket:

Fit's real flush!

The exhaust pipe flange actually fits awesome, thank God.

What should I do about the header flange?

BUMP. There's still plenty of gasket mat'l visable inside so I'm thinking just bolt it down real hard and it'll take care of it. Think it'll work?

Thats the spirit! Don't be afraid to screw stuff up! There isn't anything you can screw up that someone else can't fix.
My guess is that it should work fine.

Thanks! I went out and bought some Penzoil Synchromesh MTF for my new Si tranny! Weather allowing, I'll be putting on the tranny/clutch/flywheel along with fabbing up the test pipe and installing the exhaust and header tomorrow and Wednesday. Wish me luck!

I'm hoping that I'll notice a big difference afterwards, mainly due to the tranny.

Well, shitty rain means I will be doing work at MY house tomorrow, not my gf's house with the nice air tools.

I guess I'll just do the header and exhaust tomorrow and since the weather will clear by wed., do the tranny then.

BTW: Do you guys think I'll notice much of a diff. with the new exhaust and header? I'm trying to anticipate what It'll feel like and I can't imagine it being all that panty-wetting.
