Road to I.A 2012! 2000 EJ8
Im going to start with a little back round of me and the car.
Ive been in the honda game for a couple years now had alot of cars boosted and n/a. ive had fully built single cams up to a gsr swap. My original plans was to try and build a 200whp single cam n/a started buying parts for the y8 and realized although original i wasnt going to make that kinda power and im not a big fan of boost. So i decided i was just gonna go with my favorite honda motor which is the b18b1
i know i know id love to do a k swap but my founds well..... there not capable of that lol. my goal is to have this thing swapped painted and tucked by import allience in atl this coming year. I know this wont be the final product by then considering i want to get full adjustable coilovers eventually all new suspension "lca's, subframe brace, lower tie bar,ect" then interiors gonna get some goodies and other odds and ends but lets get to the build
So heres a look of it when i first got it, as u can see needs the paint pretty bad i kept the wheels from my da teg and it had some gaytown halo's

Now im gonna give you a look of where i ended before i decided i was gonna rip it apart and get her looking good for i.a

After i picked that up i had to wait a little while to save up for some other stuff :

Ill upload some more pics of progress in a little while i just got my mounts for the swap today along with the jumper harness
Picking up my arp headstuds later today and still waiting for my cometic headgaskit to come in. Hope to see some of you at i.a this year and be looking for my car to be there

Thank you this is has been alot of fun so far and still has a good ways to go but as long as its painted and running before i.a im gonna be happy the little stuff can wait untill after that, did i mention im doing this build making 450-500 bucks every two weeks, which means i really only get to spend about 250-300 on it every two weeks so ballin on a budget deff will be applied here
Son of a... You make less than I do, but you get to spend more on your car than I do

Yea thats exactly what I make so I feel your pain...but most of my builds take years of waiting and saving up money so big props on penny pinching and dedication to your work
so i ordered a cometic headgaskit but they sent me an intake manifold gaskit so imma figure out whats going on with that today and working on the bay and some body this weekend
im gonna try and get all these unnessisary holes covered up.Also if anyone can please help, ive been researching but still a little confused ive removed my charcoal can, and theres 2 lines that were going into it what should i do about these?? and i heard you have to reset your ecu every 3 days but thats for obd2 and since im going with an obd1 ls swap i should be fine right? correct me if im wrong please

Did some work today undercoated the car and inner fenders tucked my driverside headlight harness didnt have to extend anything and still clipped in the stock harness
also sprayed the block head and valve cover ill get pics up asap probly going to do some more work on it in just a few imma try to get some sanding down and get this thing ready for paint soon

Did some stuff today.
relocated my fuel filter down in the bay lowered the brake lines and relocated the slave cylinder line.
I also got my driverside headlight harness tucked and a little body work done on to the pics

Got an UPDATE ! 
Been pretty buisy here lately but got a few things done,
I got my main harness ran through the firewall and plugged into the ecu
- Finally got a manifold which will be port matched soon also got a gsr throttlebody
- Picked up some track rs and whale ***** for a great price from my buddy
- got a full zex wet kit on a trade which ill probly just sell and also got a dc strut bar.
O and the bay is finally sprayed, still need to pick up all my firewall plugs also on to the pics

Finally got a peice of metal ive been waiting on for about a month
Now i can put the block in just waiting on all my gaskets to get here and its ready to drop in. Ive got a few other parts on the way as well and maybe new wheels with some offset soon

The car SHOULD have its first start tomarrow or tuesday "im hoping" lol
but i still have body work to do to get this thing ready for paint.
