Red EG8 Project
love how the car's looking... esp the engine bay! i have a friend of mine here in ja with a 94 si but he has on the hatchback front bumper. looks pretty awesome on the car. keep up the work though. can't wait to see how the splitter comes out. maybe you wrap it with 3M cf vinyl... just a thought
To the rear camber bolts? o_O Yikes, and I thought mine were stuck on there, though nothing some PB Blaster and some heat from a torch wouldn't fix, lol.
Good luck though, my buddy had the Hardrace parts on his EF front and back a while ago, great pieces.

2 of the 3 were broken after heating it with a torch.
I finally got the threads loose, but the bushings were totally seized on the bolts and the ears on the trailing arm were just pushing apart rather than the bolt coming through the bushing. Used a sawzall on the bolt on each is of the bushing and had to grab on to what was left of the threaded side with vicegrips to screw it out all the way.

Those were snap on too!! What were you using? 6 foot breaker bar? lol jk man. Nice investment on the camber arms. Heard nothing but good things about hard race. I want their toe arms cause adjusting toe on my car is a pain, especially since I want to zero it out lol

Yeah. The sockets broke after i used a torch to heat the bolt...but they were also over 20 years old. Both the rusty bolts and the sockets.
I'm probably going to end up getting the hardrace toe adjustments too so that I can add a little toe in to combat the negative camber wear. But I'm waiting until I can get it in on the alignment rack to check where it's at.

Thanks people! Just ordered hasport u70a motor mounts, asr rear subframe brace, asr 24mm sway bar, asr spherical end links, and bwr lca's. Also on the way is a couple mugen pieces.
I need to stop spending money for a while, so I'm going to try to cut back on this the next couple weeks. But I still plan on getting a 70mm throttle body before driving weather hits. Possibly an intake manifold too, but we'll see.

Really great build! Just read all 4 pages. I honestly liked the older vc better, but it's your car, like you said earlier.
I'd like to know what you're doing about the rear tires and the fenders? Definitely looks like they'll rub unless you're at stock height.

That's what I got the rear camber kit for. As they are right now, they look like they're going to just clear. But I'm also going to probably trim off a little bit of the lip inside the fender in the spots that it's a little thicker and closer to the tire.
