tomorrow im going to finish my exhaust probably and also im going to finihs the shifter bc im not oging to buy a new shifter im trying to save my money bc im either going to buy after market seats or a turbo

ill post pictures or my homeade shifter extension haha its so getto but it works and it will be nice and high im not a fan of the "cut shortthrow shifters"!


what i did was i took an old impact socket and drilled a whole threw it and threw the shifter and im going to weld a bolt onto it for the stock oem shift **** i am currently winning on ebay haha

hey is bondo spot putty the same as that icing **** bc i cant find it and i found spot putty by bondo but it didnt have a hardner to mix with

is that garbage?

yea pretty much anything that is bondo brand is garbage.

I can buy some at my automotive dealer and ship it to you. If your interested let me know and I will go down there tomorrow and get a price for you.

anyways Updates!!!!

go some pictures for you guys

fixed the cut short throw and weighted it a bit


took an old impact socket and drilled threw it then welded a bolt on top for the shifter



finished and painted



one of the car


welded up most of the exhaust but im not done fittign it until i have the car back together and then fit it correctly



and i leave you with picture of the entire back of the rex full with beer haha



also sanded the fenders and most of the body almost done sanding !!!!

today was nice out so i also tested out my spray guns and they shoot great!!!

i had bit of orange peel is the gun pushign to much air out? not not enough

anyone know?

I have to say that shifter is ghetto...haha

But you make up for it with all the beer in the back...WTF are you doing with 2309520935 gallons of beer in the back of your car?

I feel like your guys teacher or something...I am going to have to start charging you for this stuff..haha..jk

Anyways, Orange peel is usually becuase of the surface not being clean. Are you tacking it off or using a grease remover before spraying?

What PSI are you spraying at anyways, you can actually spray at any rate. Its all on how fast and good you are. Some use 45 others 25. But 9/10 you are going to use 35 PSI.

wewll it was jsut a test spray on my old hood that was sitting outside i didnt really clean it to well i jsut scrubbed some mineral spirits down on it and im spraying at about 30-35 psi with the trigger pulled

oo and the beer thats just some im selling to my buddies i have like double the amount in my basement .. .my uncle came to my hosue with his f150 bed full to the top of beer hahaha its mainly lagars though no coors buds or **** like that

hah yeah harmonator is a huge help he helped me out more than anyone on HT haha

but yea i got to clean the car off with grease remover when im done

cars coming alone come a long way gl with the painting. i'm going to be looking for a crx soon to rebuiild stock. well not really stock but noting special. but gf look and keep chuging.
