nahhhhhhhhhhhh i prefer the clear ones. they're oem bumper lights to, no fake junk, unlike my corner lights. honestly i'm not that big of a fan of amber parts, i prefer amber bulbs so they do they're job when they're needed. plus, with amber bumper lights i couldn't show off my blue bulbs that glow amber.

so today i cruised alot. still gotta fix my small coolant leak (it drips out) but that's tomorrows job. any ways i had lunch with my mom, then cruised over to VIP performance where wryan (sp?) helped me get a new balast to replace my burned out one since i didn't want to buy a new kit (if you're reading this THANK YOU!!!!) and i also picked up one of those mad tyte jdm squash air fresheners too. then cruised down to darylls mufflers and had a magnaflow highflow cat installed, along with my obx mondo can n what not chopped off and a turbo muffler was installed instead. sounds better, super quiet at idle, so quiet i can hear my fuel pump humming over the tone of my exhaust, but gets loud when i get on it. then kicked it with some friends, cracked vtec a couple times, and just chilled for the most part. i'll post pix of the exhaust tomorrow when i finish tweaking it a little bit.

i'm making a new list of things to fix and or work on on my hatch.

windsheild is dangerous at sun down, because the crack reflects light right into my eyes
seats lean outward due to impropper seat pan swap, gotta fix that
sub amp is way too tiny, and keeps kicking off.
clutch cable needs to be adjusted
needs an alignment
front end bolts need to be torqed
bushings need replacing
needs paint BAAAAAAD
i want to install my rear lip on my next days off, we'll see how that goes though
i need to get my p06 chipped and set up with a base map on chrome for my setup, then when i purchace my cam down the road i'll get it tuned.

you can't really call it fake junk, that's basically saying anything thats aftermarket is fake junk.you get what I'm saying?

lol true. i didn't mean any disrespect, as aftermarket parts lots of times are just as good, if not better than oem parts. i was refering to the parts that are quite crappy looking. your lights look good the last corner markers i had didn't fit right, and broke when i was installing them once. my headlights are tyc, not stanley, and work/look GREAT.

yeah true sometimes you get crappy parts and sometimes you get quality parts.I'll admit my old amber corner lights on my old hatch were crap they leaked bad,it was like a fish tank on my lights LOL.but the ones I have now seem like better quality.I also never had a problem with the bumper lights though.

ugh i warped my head due to a leaking water pump even though it did not appear to be leaking, so now i gotta tear it all apart, have my head checked and resurfaced again, and replace the stupid water pump and gaskets. fml.

it's weird, when my car was hot last night, it was puking thick white clouds of steam. i go to start it today after it sat all night, and it steamed for a second, but then nothing from the exhaust after that.

hmmmmm i pulled my head off my block after work today to see what's up with my head gasket... the bolt second from the right edge on the front of the motor was bowed (not sure how that happened...) here's my head gasket...

the motor side of the gasket looks normal though.

sorry bout the crappy cell phone pix. heads going back to the shop on monday to be resurfaced, and i'm ordering arp head studs (should have done that the first time... oh well) a new water pump and gasket set

so once i get this thing running again, i might start a new build thread. the theme's going to be improvements that i can and will be making to the car to take it from "ok" to "NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!!" weather it be a fantastic super mod or just giving it a bath, that's what my next goals for the car are

before any one askes, the block on the floor is a d15b7 that im going to re ring, install new bearings and gaskets, and transplant into the next ef i get, thinking of finding one for cheap, putting a few bills into it and flipping it... the head rests in the couch are from my old prelude seats... and the pile of stuff behind the couch is my mom's... she's too busy to clean it up between work, running my sis around and helping her mom and brother out.
