Thanks man! I would say it kinda just spiraled out of control. It started because I wanted to clean up some wiring in the engine bay...then this happened, and here we are almost 2 years later, haha.

Thank you sir, I fake it well! I need to prioritize a little better, stop working OT and just finish this thing already.

Thanks man! Definitely won't be the cleanest DB2 here, but hoping to be one of the more functional ones
I will always have a soft spot for Del Sols, but I think after this is done it's gonna be time to build a drift missile. My buddy's got me hooked after riding with him in his 240 at the drift events here.

Got some parts from the UPS dude yesterday. New ASR subframe brace, 24mm sway bar, and rear LCA. Quality is top notch, very excited

I need to go on a parts frenzy soon. I just picked up a 92 RS for cheap and completely stock.

You will like the Fortune Auto setup.

I have the 500's w/ Swift Springs on a 12k/8k spring rate. Can make it right as soft or as stiff as you want. You can tell a significant difference through the rebound settings.

I'm hoping to get my build going soon!

Based on everything I've read about them, I'm inclined to believe you, haha. Still anxiously waiting on them to get here.

It's basically the same thing as JDM Lifestyle. I'm with you though, I'm starting to lose track, haha.

Yesterday was the big RC's Garage meet/BBQ. Unfortunately I was very much slacking on photos.

I can't begin to explain how stupid clean the blue EM1 that they built was. The quality of work that they produce is unreal. I am honestly hoping that my bay turns out 1/10th as good as that. This was particularly motivating for me because I got to meet a few inspiring people for the second gen community. First up was seeing Hasport's DA. The huge front splitter pulls your eye right to the bay, where the supercharged K24 resides. That thing sounds MEAN! He was a super cool dude, and based on my conversation with him, I think I've finally settled on a tuner. More to come on that later.

I also was able to see the Hush Performance EF in person. Wow. That's really all I can say. Just wow. Also, super cool dude.

Based on my bad experience with the raffle at the Japanese Classic Car Show, I wasn't going to sell myself short for this one. I ended up purchasing quite a few raffle tickets, and it definitely paid off. Came home with a bunch of new t shirts, as well as a few goodies. I won a Downstar VTEC solenoid cap and front bumper quick release kit. I also won a Hybrid Racing K series fuel rail and shifter cable bushings. Since I don't play with K series, I'm donating these to my good buddy back in Iowa. He's got 2 cars with K's to choose from, so I'll let him deal with these.

I managed to pull out all the crappy ABS wiring and mount the ASR brace and sway bar last night. Waiting on the coil overs to show up so I can put the car on the ground and torque everything down.

Crappy pic, lighting sucks under there

Those cars are pretty flawless! I still remember the Crx from Hush. I need to make it to one of those events.

Those dudes definitely know what they're doing. I was just glad to have my complaints about shaving a bay validated. I still wanna see this 92 RS!

Updates coming this week are gonna be some good ones.

This was a good week. I took a few days off of work for my birthday and got a lot of stuff done on the car. The bay is still far from done, but lots of progress was made. I ran out of wire for the welder, so here's where I'm stuck for a bit.

This is my life now

Disclaimer, I am not good at welding, I'm still learning

Bay progress

4

I took a small chunk of metal to the cheek while grinding, so I took a break from the bay to do some work on the engine.

New OEM oil pickup

I went up to ICB and spoiled myself on my birthday.

New Vision front strut bar

New Project Mu Lug Nuts

The UPS guy was very kind to me this week.

New Tanabe Medallion Touring cat back

New Go Autoworks Intake Piping

Saved the best for last. Ellis at Fortune Auto built my 500 series coil overs. Swift spring upgrade, 12kg front and 10kg rear.

I set the pre load and installed the rears today. Fronts won't be going on until the bay is done.

Hopefully the next update will include primer and filler.

Thanks man! I'm hoping they ride fancy too!

I'm off work early today and I'm hoping to get a bit of work done this evening. I need to run and get some more welding wire still and a few other things.

I recently ordered some Cusco exhaust hangars (old ones were all worn out) and received T1R ones instead. I'm not complaining at all, it's essentially the same thing, but it was weird that my invoice online said Cusco and the invoice I got with the T1R hangars said T1R. Oh well, exhaust should be bolted up and on tonight.

Space is precious in the garage lately, so I threw the exhaust on the car to get it out of the way. The fitment on this thing was absolutely PERFECT. Couldn't have asked for a better product, highly recommend the Tanabe to my fellow G2 enthusiasts.

Unwrapping with the T1R exhaust hangars

Shiny

It's hard to get a decent pic here, there's about a foot of space between the car and the wall and shitty lighting

I love it

That exhaust is nice!

Here is the only pic I have of my DA at the moment. I forgot I had this pic. She's got faded paint, but that's an easy fix money can buy. Lol.

Nice! That's super clean.

AZ definitely takes it's toll on paint. It's one of the only states where Honda won't warranty their paint. Mine's worse than yours.

Eager to see what happens with this one. If you ever need any help, hit me up! I've collected quite the collection of tools along the way for this build. We might be going in on a house TIG welder soon too!

Thanks man, your words are kind and appreciated! I think the lack of exterior photos makes this thing look cooler than it is, haha. Paint's in poor shape, but I'll get to it someday.

I want some opinions, preferably from people with personal experience with these products.

Miracle X Bar vs EM Racing Z Bar.
