I'm looking at building another head for my A20, to raise compression, 1.5 MM decking has been done before, and I believe 2 MM is possible with no major issues, other then an adjustable cam gear to correct timing, in theory it should be around 11 to 1 , I have no issue running high octane in the car, as it's going to be a car to drive for fun and not every day, but around here sometimes you cant get anything but 87, when prices go up, many stations simply dont stock it, I looked at the snow stage one system, it can be activated by any outside switch, I was thinking something like a 4500 rpm switch, this would have it spraying only when under acceleration, the point is these systems can raise octane enough on 87 pump gas to prevent knock, with higher compression. I wanted to have the system in place and setup, in the event I get stuck having to use 87, the only issue I see is the system comes with one nozzle and their special line, I would somehow have to dial back the pump pressure, which can be done, and use two nozzles, since I run two carbs, and my manifold is basically two backwards Y's, each carb feeds two cylinders, anyone used spray on N/A before? discuss.
