LS VTEC 12.1 compression, Timing recommendations
Just wondering what you high compression guys have your timing set up as???
I have an LSVTEC 81mmx95mm fully built bottom end, p72, stock fuel setup. My timing is currently retarded all the way, it runs great, but I just want to make it run better.
Any ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: LS VTEC 12.1 compression, Timing recommendations (2'z custom colors)
Hey guys, I just looked this up on another thread, and the guy recommeded running some NGK spark plugs on and ls-vtec with 12.1 compression, he recommended running a colder range. the guy mentioned that it wouldn't detonate.
its under this thread

My current timing is retarded all the way(to prevent detonation). I know I know, I am going to get it tuned wed. I'll keep you guys posted.
what do you guys think of this. One of my mechanic buddies says this is horseshit.
