code 7 tps problem help!!!
So I've been having this issue with my tps sensor going off, I have a 203whp gsr with hondata, it started happening 2 weeks after my last tune, when I go full throttle first to second to third it goes on and the car bogs a bit and I'm pretty sure vtec goes off, so I contacted my tuner and he said to try and reprogram it on hondata. I went under the tps section and had the car on idle set it turned it off went full throttle and then set it aswell it still did it so I figured it was my tps sensor that was messed, put another used tps sensor and problem went away for about 2 weeks and now goes on when the cars hot and full throttle 3rd gear switching into 4th and almost at my rev limit it goes on again, its starting to annoy me what could it be? Should I try another tps? I went to honda and they don't sell it separate from the throttle body, my harness is obd2b 01 integra gsr not hacked up and conversion harness to my obd1 hondata, and when I put the new tps sensor we turned it until the hondata said 0percent if that matters, sorry for the story book but any help would be awesome

I'm not real smart but I fought a tps problem for a couple years and long story short the problem was inside my ecu. My tuner was able to "bridge a gap" with some solder and problem solved. I know its a long shot but weird stuff happens. Good luck.
thanks for the help my mechanic actually suggested that i was really hoping it wouldnt have to do with my ecu or harness but ill check. To someone who knows what they are doing will they notice something like that by looking into the ecu? and what issues were you having similar to mine? its weird how it only goes on when im in vtec for a long time aka 4th gear and the motor is hot
Bump! Put my map on a budys hondata still does it, what else could it be? Not it does it shifting from first to 2nd hard, could it be my conversion harness?? Does my tune have anything to do with it
I mechanically clocked the tps sensor
Loosend the screws on the tps sensor, rotated the sensor until 0% and re-cynced everything in the software idle/wot can't remember the numbers for idle but wot was 107%
Is that the same thing?

No I don't think so. I'm not a Hondata user so I can't say but what you really need is a voltage meter to check
