Get rid of the ITR Manifold and put a P30 back on it
and you will see that you are way ahead with the ouput till 8k rpm

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
del sol with stock b16a1
y21 gearbox hydro clutch
p30 intake manifold
kn panel air filter
edm itr header
60mm o.d. straight pipe from the manifold back
twin loop replica muffler, not as restrictive as the obx one
It put down 162.4bhp and 155nm at the flywheel....can't remember the whp values but it's on the low 100 or 110whp....quite low don't you think????
This is na edm engine that came on the crx mk2 ivt, it made 150bhp factory, 10bhp less that the b16a2 and the first geneation jdm b16a....
Next month I'll put a dyno print when I put my new header and pipe, toda replica and 63mm true o.d. straight from the manifold back....I'm thinking on changing the twin for a vibrant flat black, let's see if he time and budget allow that lol
In june It'll be tuned on hondata s300 with this new setup, a skunk2 pro series intake manifold and na itr air box with kn filter.....
I already changed the flywheel for a exedy 9.5lbs one but the next month dyno will be the first with this flywheel.......

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
yeah thats a lot more drop than the 20% drivetrain loss that its suppossed to have. I had the vibrant stealth flat black and really liked it. A better intake tube/system and a tune will make a huge difference. I had the same b16 with custom intake the same exhaust but with a vibrant race steel core cat and a tune and did 144whp on a mustang dyno at 3300ft altitude

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
This engine was swaped from an eg5 that already had been swap, I'm not sure how many miles this engine and drivetrain have, latter down the road I'll need to change my driveshafts and motor mounts to see if I can recover a couple whp. .....It's measured on a maha dyno, I'll let you know when I dyno it again, but I'm really ansious for the tune up, I believe that the afr isn' t right with this mods and stock map......

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
It's a maha dyno, 172 at the flywheel and 116whp, you have all the numbers on the left side, including the values of the correction.....I lost 50hp to the wheels, I believe that're my drive shafts. .....

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
50hp is alot of drivetrain loss, a good 15% more than it should be. I dont know enough about them but maybe the correction is off. If thats all right then you might want to keep an eye/ear on bearings. 1 going out could cause exessive drag.

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
The cococorrection is ok. .... I believe that're my drive shafts that need to be replaced..... I'll put some innovative engine and transmission mounts on the next year, maybe that'll help a little.... Also planning to install the master kit from energy suspension. .... I've no idea of the history of my engine previously of my swap so it can have more than 300.000km of use, the engine output is ok so the lost from high mileage are visible outside de engine, that means that I can gin a few whp without needing to rebuild. .... Slowly I'll make it better than new....it's my dayli car so I can't stop driving it for long.....

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
Same mods as early but now with a skunk2 pro series intake manifold, hondata intake gasket and tuned on hondata..... Still with 50ish bhp lost to the wheels..... Why is that number so high???? Please tell me what you guys think that can be losing bhp on my drivetrain......

^ How are you getting the flywheel horsepower? are you pulling the motor out to dyno it each time?

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
No, it's the dyno that do that, it calculaste that value......don't get me wrong but there you measure around 140whp all stock, here ater a rebuild b16 with wiseco pistons and a tune it only did 120whp, so how can it be possible to have less whp with a new engine? ????? Different dynos at different places it makes a huge difference. ...
I'm not bitching, just trying to show you why I'm thinking so much about the numbers on this graph.......

Re: can we get a official b16 all motor dyno thread
Hi all,
Wifey just bought me a project car in April 2015, it's a 2000 Civic SI with stock B16A2. Only engine mod was a AEM SRI. So I will be doing a lot with this car and posting on this thread frequently! I have already bought S2S1 Cams, S2 LMA, B16A2 rebuild kit (Pistons w/ rings, water pump, oil pump, timing belt, all gaskets and seals. So everyone knows, I will be building a street legal build (Thank you California!) and want to get about 250HP to the wheels N/A. Hope to get more ideas off this thread from recommendations (dyno proven). If you have any questions, please let me know and if you have nothing nice to say, keep it to yourself

With 1.6 liter displacement? Or are you intending on a bigger bore stroke. 250 with a 2.0 is a relatively simple formula and has been done many times. 250 from a 1.8 would be tough but doable. 250 with a 1.6 would require more time and money than its worth, be torqueless, and next to impossible for the average engine builder/car enthusiast.
