B18c1 bolt ons, id1000's,walbro 255,ported oil pump need advice
I have a healthy 99 gsr with 130xxx (comp test read 230 across all 4) and as of right now it has
-rsr ceramic coated header
-Tanabe cat-back exhaust
-s2 pro series IM
-PWJDM CF whale *****
-Type r throttle body
-hondata insulating gaskets
It is being fully tuned by jotech in garland using s300 this week. My plan is to have a full race turbo kit installed by winter time but for now it'll be NA. I have a set of id1000's, walbro 255 fuel pump and a ported oil pump that will go on when the turbo does. My questions are- would it be a good idea to have the injectors, fuel/oil pump installed and tuned right now? Would they be overkill? Should i just wait for the turbo kit to install everything? Thanks.

sleeve the bottom end, build it, live it, learn it, then boost it, after that worry about freakin injectors and all that hogwash

On the other hand, why bother installing them now? None of those parts are going to do anything until the turbo is on. Put them on and tune now and then tune again later? Or just wait and tune once.

ID's will make more power all motor for the time being. The way I see it, if there is some type of issue you will have it resolved by the time you go boost. So it is one less thing to mess with and worry about.
