Oil pump for turbo
it's not really needed but if you really want to go for it. it's just more of pain to do. what's easier and this is what i have is the oil line runs from the back of the motor from the oil sensor to an oil cooler(don't one that's too big or you'll lose pressure), then from there to the turbo. it works a lot better than a gsr oil pump and is a lot easier to install.
If you are rebuilding I would not go with a used pump! Just get a new one. These pumps are critical to the life of your engine and I would never risk using a used pump on an engine built for performance.
Get a new oil pump... The GSR or B20 pump will do fine, you'll need a new GSR timing belt too. If you know a shop that does it, you can get it shimmed to run a higher oil pressure, but don't know the downsides to it. Don't use the LS oil pump as it flows less.
