So welcome to HT forums, The forum your thread is currently in specializes in Honda NA information. It is filled with Sticky's and thousands of threads that address builds and easily over 150 B18B builds from the last year or so. As far as achieving 300HP that depends if you are asking for crank or wheel horse power. If you want 300WHP You will only achieve that while staying in the realm of affordability, say less then $3,000.00 on engine alone only leaves you the option of running an aggressive Nitrous system or a Turbo setup.

A poor mans Type R is to take either a Non Vtec B18B short block and install a PR3 head with a vtec conversion kit or a VTEC B18C short block, this is generally accompanied by the inclusion of pistons to recreate the Type R B18C USDM 10.6:1 or JDM 11:1 compression ratio along with Type R cams to acheive as close to the 195-210HP of a Genuine Type R motor produced.

Ok thats all the spoon feeding I'm doing today...please read through the forums to find what other information you need.
