In the making.
Jdm b20b
96 spec gsr head
Removing butterflys and porting out intake
11:1 arias pistons with shotpeened rods
Getting all balanced and getting around 2lbs taking out of crank
12lbs flywheel with soon stage 3 clutch
EBay header
H22 injectors with 255 walbro.
Chipped ecu with obd1 conversion (going in a crx hf)
Getting block guard cam gears and type r pulley and arp everywhere
Gsr tranny non-lsd
3 in exhaust straight pipe all the way

Any comments to help that would be great
I am planning on definitely hitting 12s hope low but we will see should be done in 4 to 6 months taking time make sure right cause it will also be a daily driver has to last

My advice, get a victorx intake manifold. Many people have ported out the stock gsr one and removed the butterflies but the intake manifold still holds them back. A victorx you will see greater power gains.

Yeah I was really curious about that but limited on cash that's y I chose to DIY method but if I could find one for cheap I would get it or a skunk2 proseries
I also was wondering from anybody would it be okay to use a b16 oil pump instead of a gsr? Would it be the same oil pressure or would ot be safer with a gsr one? Thanks for the help

how high of a compression you trying to run the rs pistons yield you 12.0:1-12.5:1 with the head decked .005

wtf people say so many diff things. these guys in my b20vtec thread were both saying how i was going ot blow my motor running 12.5 pistons. Im going to use hondata s200 to tune with a reputable tuner. 92 octane is the highest around here. So confused.

we advised you not to run that high on that low octane fuel you know what your tuner is going to do he is going to retard your ignition timing t so you dont detonate while running that high of a compression with that low of a octane hence since he is going to do that your going to lose some hp and your power is going to be the same as if you ran a lower compression so why run that high of a compression and risk it if it gives you no gain
