I went trough and scanned this whole b20vtec tread and nowhere could i find the CR for an b20 block @ 84mm, b20 crank, b20 rods on RS machine ITR style pistons matted to an B16 head. Either i missed it or its not there . Will they net me an 12.1:1 CR atleast or will i have to chose something with a bigger dome to net me my desired CR. If you can direct me in the right set of RS machine pistons that will neet me 12s in CR on an b20v build it will be greatly apreciated.

Dude seriously, youre freking 21 22 and cant behave on an "internet forum" or post nonesence posts in all my posts. Ho cares if i am youre neighboor. currently im buildin a b20v to replace my non-v b20.. currently.. i have..
b20z block
mahle pistons 12.82cr
b20 crank done up..
b20 rods done up..
gsr head heavily worked over..
skunk2 oversized valves .05mm
skunk2 pro springs/ ti retainers
skunk2 pro 3 cams
skunk2 gsr manifold ported/polished
and going in to replace the ls trans is a b16 trans
b20z block

ya my car isn't really fast.. but in here, in my country that's fast enough for daily driven car..

ya because we run at very.. very.. bad survece circuit.. lol
my engine specification is :
B20b + B16 cylinder head

im in the process of building a my b20 now im going with oem b20z phk pistons which im in a toss up as if i should notch them or not im probably gonna notch them just to be safe stock gsr head with skunk 2 mani im hoping for somewhere around 175 whp tuned nothing major its my dd and will rarely even see the track just want a lil push to get me down the highways and its a budget build wish me luck any advice will be appreciated as this is my first build

I am going to start to ger/order parts for my b20v build next month hopefuly. I need you guys to guide me in the right direction. Like what year b20 block to get that wont be a hastle to swap into my 97 gsr. What i mean by this, is the knock sensor. From what i read i will have to drill a hole in order to run an knol sensor I made a parts list of what i will need to get.
Here it is
Block:
b20b/z . stock bore 84 mm...........250$
itr 84 mm rs machined pistons.......... 325$with shipping hoping for 12.1-12.5:1 CR on 91 pump gas
b20 ARP rod bolts 8 mm, same ones that fit into d series rods...........35$
ARP head studs..........130$
ACL bearing kit..............120$
Some type of catch can.
tranny:
Gsr tranny with oem lsd...........$$$$$$$$already have the tranny but need to find internals for it.
Head:
B16 head or gsr head. Wich ever i can find cheaper.
new valve stem seals....20$
dual valve springs...........maybe if i will rev to 8500......
skunk 2 IM if running the P73 head..150$
Blox 78-76mm TB.........$$$$$$$$$
CTR cams or wich ever willl yield me more power with my set up........$$$$$$$$$$
Tri Y replica header............
Fuel system:
RDX injectors.410cc..work with the b series mani but need to run an injector adapter from rosko.......30-40$ per injector then 60 for the adapters.
Biger fuel pump or shuld i run the stock gsr fuel pump..or an intank walbro..plz let me know what model..thanks
Exhaust: 2.5 inch with stock gsr Cat..maybe straight pipe but it smells or an cut out before the cat
ECU:
Chipped P28, obd2 to obd1 skunk 2 conversion harness...already have
Let me know what needs to be changed or added. Can some one tell me what pistons will yield me my derired compresion ration of atleast 12.1. I read that the rs machined itr style pistons will only give me about 11.5:1 ish wich is not what i want. Thanks

The head is not a problem because i have an b18c1 engine already that will be used to pass smog...lol calli.....butt i want to keep it all togheter so i will get an b16 head most likely. Here in calli theres an abundance of them.......But i am not shure that it will yield my desired CR of 12.1-12.5 with the set up that i am going to run.

Edit: I just noticed this thread has gotten WAY off base. Only people with stock B20 builds and actual mileage should be posting in here and not using this as a build thread. This thread was intended to be about reliability when using the stock bottom end and peoples experiences doing it. Anything other than that is off topic.
