3.2 TL electrical
I have a 1997 3.2 TL with over 300k on it. I have a couple issues I need some help with. the first is a climate control system that intermittently displays the temp, etc. The screen is blank more often than it show the temp. Any ideas?
The second issue involves the starter I expect. Sometimes it will start right up and sometimes just clicks but after a few trys starts right up. Does changing this starter involve removal of any additional parts to access it? Also, am I correct in my assumption that it is the starter on it's way out?

Re: 3.2 TL electrical
I would do an electrical test first.. It sounds like not everything is getting the proper amount of power.
Take the battery and get it tested, then have the alternator tested, then the starter
