ok that only further validates my point!! 13.2 gallons = full tank, so you can fit an additional 1.8 gallons almost 2 full gallons over the tank limit in your car?...for some reason i just don't beleive you!!

Try this, run your Type S out of gas. Then have it towed to a pump. Then fill it up to the top of the filler neck. Then write an apology.

you can also check edmunds and last but not least, you can check your OWNERS MANUAL that says it is 13.2 gallons. two gallons is a lot and simply will not fit in your fuel lines and fuel rail to have that much extra fuel.

Owners manual says APPROXIMATELY 13.2 gallons. Words, and their definitions, are important.
Don't take my word for it. Run your car out of gas and fill it to the brim.

If you start to spell correctly, I might be more interested.
Goodbye.

so since i misspelled "believe" twice you have no interest any more....fail!! i do have an open mind, i just dont BELIEVE you can fit 15 gallons into something that sayd it can take 13.2 gallons...if you take two containers, one 15 gallon and the other 13.2 gallons and try to fit the same amount of liquid in each and video tape it, i will BELIEVE you!!

This whole thread is flawed for the simple reason that fuel economy is expressed in "Miles Per Gallon". The size of the tank is only relavent when calculating driving distance. I haven't run my RSX-S out of fuel, so I don't know how many miles I could actually get out of a tank. I could calculate the distance based on my average MPG and what the manual states the tank holds.
That said, I normally get between 32-34 MPG in warm weather driving 60% highway and 40% city. In winter, (temps near zero and snow covered roads), it has been as low as 28MPG.

I think the most I've ever gone is around 340, and that was on a drive from Seattle to California. I was going about 80 the whole time, and I actually got a chance to max my car out in the middle of the night haha. I mostly drive city miles going to work everyday, and I usually fill up every 280 miles. That doesn't sound that good compared to you guys.
