Default Miles on a Tank of Gas...

Set a new personal best in my RSX-S. I went 378.1 miles on a single tank of gas. When I filled up, I put exactly 12.008 gallons back in the car.

Usually I'm lucky to get just over 300 miles. I was amazed that I ran 378.

How many miles is everyone else getting with their K?

On my EP I can get like 30 combo city/highway with only a couple of redlined shifts. Um... Most on a tank I've pulled was like 360?

Nice man, does anybody have kpro on a stock engine and monitor their MPG? I would like to see how much mpg a good tune would get you. I am sure most people with a kpro do not drive conservatively.

I got 29.5 MPG going to SF from LA going about 110 almost the entire way on the 5. The freeway was absolutely empty. Saw maybe 30 cars after about 200 miles.

I think the most I've ever gone is around 340, and that was on a drive from Seattle to California. I was going about 80 the whole time, and I actually got a chance to max my car out in the middle of the night haha. I mostly drive city miles going to work everyday, and I usually fill up every 280 miles. That doesn't sound that good compared to you guys.

that sounds about right with city driving. i get about 26-28 mpg with mixed driving. people will get better gas mileage driving all highway and at slower speeds. you can probably break 350 if you drove 100% highway at 60 mph. i would imagine close to 400 at those speeds. remember that our gas tank is 13.2 gallons, but most people don't use up more than 12 gallons before they go to the gas station, which is probably why you're not seeing crazy high numbers.

Average I get around 330 miles. The best I've done was 380 miles to the tank mostly all highway tho. I have a Comptech airbox, DCRH, and hondata stage 4 reflash.

Stage 4? There's different stages? Did you have to special order that from Hondata? Sorry, don't mean to thread jack.

I can squeeze up to 15 gallons in the type s when it's nearly empty. The miles you drive is dependent on 2 factors: 1) the gas in the tank 2) your driving habits

15 gallons x 30 mpg = 450 miles.

So how long then do you guys that are getting 350 miles plus per tank waiting after your fuel light comes on to get gas? I usually fill up once a week sometimes 2 times depending on what I do on the weekend. I'm pretty sure my light comes on when I use around 10 gallons or so. At that point I have gone on average 275 miles. So I figure I get about 26-28 mpg with mostly city driving and I also almost always have a few spirited moments. The most I've ever filled up is like 12.8 gallons.

that's not correct. If you read carefully, the manual says something like "approximately 13.2 gallons".

I've run out of gas, and then filled an empty take. It'll take up to 15 (all the way to the top of the filler neck).

I usually average filling up 8-9 gallons and that will net me around 280-300 miles.

When it just came out it was labeled Hondata Stage 4. I dunno why...
