Default Hondata Question

I have a 06 Rsx Type S (completely stock) and i was planning on purchasing the Hondata Reflash since the price has gone down to $295. Im not looking to do major mods in the future just a daily driver. Im sure this will effect how many MPG i get depending on how i drive, but just wanted to know what people have experienced from this upgrade or if they heard of anyone talk about the MPG. Will this upgrade help or hurt my MPG, lets say i just drive it normal and not redlining or anything.

Is the Reflash really worth buying? I dont know if im reading this correct but the dyno shows only a gain of 8hp and 6 ft/lb. With overnight shipping and all its gonna cost me $350.

Yes it is worth it! Think about it... A name brand cold air intake will cost you about that much, give you about the same power, and this ALSO raises your redline which has some advantages.

Decent power for not a lot of money = worth it.

Well let's take a look at this...

# Peak torque increases by 6 ft-lbs
# Peak power increases by 8 hp
# Very wide flat smooth torque curve. 90% of peak torque available from 2200-8000 rpm.
# Fully dealer compatible - works with all Honda scan tools and equipment
People need to realize, there's more to a mod than PEAK power.

Pretty impressive to me, specifically for $300.
