Default hondata question

do i REALLY need datalogging to go w/ a 2b? i'm fairly new to this and don't think i'll even know what the datalogging results will tell me. is it a good investment to cough up the extra cash or should i wait and upgrade when i learn more about my car? i'm planning on getting the car tuned by a shop so will they have enough info or is datalogging essential for perfect tuning?

It's an extremely useful tool for fine tuning and troubleshooting. I would definitely get it.

Not required, but having it can tell you a lot about how your engine is running... $250 isn't a bad price considering that a a big *** tach and a boost guage will cost about the same!

if your going to go with datalogging you may as well just go for a 4B and do everything your self. datalogging without the capability to change anything is completey useless! anyway, if you are not going to be doing the tuning/chip burning stick with a 2B and use the extra money for something a bit more useful -- perhaps a J&S unit.
