High Idle and Fluctuating Idle. IACV and ECU was already replaced by Dealer?
I'm having a strange issue with my 06 Base Manual. I don't have any mods whatsoever. The car is completely stock. Now i'm having high idle and fluctuating idle on my car when i'm driving and at a stop. Also when i'm driving i am getting alot of rev hang.
Now here is the issue. When i first noticed this problem back in November, i searched on here and crsx, and found a article on how to clean my IACV. I followed the instruction and that didn't work. Because my car is still under warranty, i brought it into the dealer and they replaced my IACV. That fixed the problem for about 2 -3 weeks and then the problem came back. I brought it back to the dealership again and this time, they replaced the ECU. I drove it for about a day and the problem came back.
Right now, the dealership and I are both stumped as to what the problem is. I don't believe it's a vacuum leak, otherwise the idle should be consistently high which it is not. If anybody have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem please reply.

Tps sensor bad? Maybe!!?? Dunno. That is the only other thing i can think of if the ecu has been replaced and the iavc has been cleaned/replaced.
if it's under warranty, then it's the dealers job to fix it. bring it back and have them keep it until it is fixed. enjoy driving the tsx/tl or any other nice loaner they will give you.
True that!!! You shouldn't really be wasting your time if its under warranty... make them do it its what a warranty is for!!!!!!!!!
You check the oil? I know you said you're stock, but that idle fluctuating happened to me too, but I fixed it by changing the oil because I sucked up water from my cai.
I know, it's already been at the dealer 3 times in less than 3 months for the same issue. This is going to be the fourth time. The last time they took it they had it for 3 weeks. The car is going back this friday, i just wanted to get other opinions.

Yeah I would definitely drop it off and tell them not to call me until it's fixed. Or you could mention to them that maybe you just got a bunk motor and they should swap it out... and for your trouble... they should prolly just upgrade you with a new little Type-S motor hahaha lol.... but forreal.
