idle problem not iacv
I am having a idle problem with my b16b in my 93 si, i searched on here and all pointed towards the iacv so i ordered a new one from acura and installed it and still having same problem.... car idles fine when cold at about 1000 rpm, after warm it idle around 500-600rpm but after getting on it and then come to a stop it is jumping from 1000 to 1500 rpm and after sitting for approx 30-45 seconds it will idle normal at 500-600 rpms although sometimes it will continue up and down no regardless how long it sits at idle, problem seems to get worse the longer it is ran can anyone help me identify this annoying problem please!!!

did you ever mess around with your fitv if you ever adjusted it or cleaned it you can goof up the idle even after it has warmed up if it is opened too much. Have you made sure you have no vacuum leaks which can vary depend on the temp of the engine.

Re: idle problem not iacv
no i didnt mess with the fitv from my understanding my manifold doesnt have one. and as far as vacuum leaks i could not find any brittle, broken, or dissconnected

Yeah, as Joel suggests, check whether you have a FITV attached to the throttle body and, if so, clean it as it could be allowing some air to pass to the IM, thereby causing the hunting idle.
Also try bleeding the cooling system and continue to look for vacuum and intake air leaks.

You can try adjusting the idle screw on the throttle body, though some of the other suggestions, except the FITV ideas, in your thread are worth trying first.
