Default Weird Problem

Well, last night my check engine light came on when i was about to it vtec, and then remained on. The car would not rev past 6000 rpm. The car acted like it was fuel cut off, and i am wondering what the problem could be. I was running the car hard that night, but no more than any other time. After i got off the highway, i went to the gas station to check out what the problem was. Everything was grounded and all air sensors were still plugged it.

At this point, i am clueless at what it could be. The problem is fixed as of now, i unplugged the negative for a few minutes and it went off. Tested the vtec again and it was fine.

So its, up in the air, i appreciate any input from anyone. Thanks!

your code will come back. until then, why don't you just take it easy on the car. let us know what code is being thrown and i'm sure you'll get much more assistance.

I going to guess that one of the O2 sensors is gunked up. Give us the code!

Yeah, i am planning on giving once i get a chance to read it. Been taking it really easy on the car and no code yet. Vtec still sputters and hesitates now over 6k, havent tried any other gears except first and second.

I am planning on taking it in for a tune up and service later this week. Car doesnt feel right now. So i'll let apple acura check it out for me.

Some buddies told me to check:

1) vtec seloniod
2) filter on vtec sel could be gunked up
3) gunky oil
4) fuel injectors
5) o2 sensors
6) bad fuel

Plan on checking all of this tomorrow if i get a chance. Anything off your heads, without an actual code to reference, on anything else to check? Thanks Guys!

Intake and exhaust, nothing major just those bolt ons. Would code 22 be covered under the factory warranty?
