Default Tranny problem?????

Hey guys...I'm wondering what's wrong with my car...it takes me like 5 minutes before my shifter lets me go into reverse and then sometimes while trying to go into reverse it won't let me go into any gear it's kind of like it's stuck....also my car seems to idle really funny ever since i got it back...It'll be at like 900rpms and then drop to 600 and go up to 1400 within a few seconds pretty weird huh??? tell me what you guys think

Maybe the clutch assembly is not install properly and causing some dragging?
Just an idea

If you can't engage reverse.....just try this simple trick 1st...

put it into 1st...then try reverse..if it still doesn't work try 4th...then reverse...

if not.....then engage 5th and reverse...and if it still doesn't work..... lift off the clutch pedal in neutral.....depress again and try reverse...

if THAT still doesn't work....then...mmm....time to take it back to whoever did your clutch.....esp. if you try it a lot and it still has problems

The reason of RagingAngel's trick is because ITR don't have reverse synchro.
But if you can't go into any other gears at stand still, i doubt it is due to lack of reverse synchro.
Probably the clutch is not install properly and the clutch cannot fully disengage.

actually it is a FBP Type R with normal old plates and stock rims...looks like a sleepr but 100 shot direct port under the hood with other goodies....but if anyone thinks they know what is wrong I will gladly pay them a little bit to find out for sure and fix it ...
