I had that issue when my clutch pedal stop was set to early. I lowered the pedal stop and the problem went away

i took the pedal stop out and pressed on the shift lever in first and then pressed in the clutch to see if it would slide in but with the pedal all the way to the floor it still wouldnt go in without it being forced in to first

On my particular car the clutch pedal only moved about a 1/2" from top when it was set properly. All the way to the floor was way way way way too far.

excatly but if u do it the way cc tells u to do it...it should slide into gear when pressing on the shift in first and the clutch but it doesnt i can take it to the floor and nothing...i havent driven the car with the pedal stop out but sitting in the drive way and just trying to get into first is a no go unless i force it in...if the cars off it goes in fine but when the car is running is when i wont go in....

I had mine set up like this. Pedal stop and rod had to be adjusted to get it like this.

As long as you are getting the rattle sound when you push in your clutch, you will know that your clutch is fully disengaged.

we had the same issue with our CM twin.

We replaced the

master and slave, and it got better but not good.

Then we adjusted the pedal and it got better. but not good

Our problem was the throw out bearing. When we pulled it, we saw the nylon was wearing weird. So we ground it back so the fingers of the PP didnt touch the throw out.

Problem solved. But i do think our master/slave were weak.
