Hey guys,

I'm having a little problem with my reverse and second gears.

When I put it in reverse sometimes, and back out, the car feels fine while I'm letting the clutch out, but when I stick the clutch back in, it feels like the car wants to stop. In fact, if I'm moving slow enough in reverse, then put the clutch in, the car stops completely.

Now, if it where the tranny, wouldn't it do it while the clutch was out completely, and I'm on the gas?

Also, when downshifting into second gear, sometimes it won't let me engage it without matching revs.

The problem is intermitent, so I have no idea what's up with it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Whoa, got bumped.

Also, do you guys think it has something to do with worn shift linkage?

My shifter seems to wobble alot while it's in gear as of lately.

You could try adjusting your clutch if you haven't done so already. I would definitely get under the car and check for loose bolts. What for shifter and bushings are you using?
