speedometer is not working
Hi
Drive 00R. After bolting on a testpipe and screwing in my o2 sensor my wires were really tight and twisted. started the car. I received a cel code 2. Unplugged the o2 sensor. and put on kenji obd1 ecu with harness. cel light went away but speedometer still not working. sometimes speedometer revs a little like up to 5mph at the same time of my idle which also moves from 3-1krpm when i let car idle. my testpipe currently has a hole from the unplugged o2 sensor. Any suggestions advice on problem would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like what Aspenny did (had happen to him) at he expo.
He ended up shorting out some of the secondary O2 sensor wires, and it turns out it also blew a fuse that the VSS (speed) sensor is on. HTH

I had this problem, and eventually it kept blowing fuses.
My problem was that the 2nd O2 sensor's wires were shorting out into the body of the car and on the exhaust, because I clipped the wires and let them hang. This made my speeedometer jump sometimes, and sometimes it didn't work all together. Unplug your 2nd O2 sensor, and tuck the harness clip up into the car, making sure that no 2 wires touch each other, or ground out. Wrap each wire up with electrical tape if U have to.
Good luck.

The code is a code 20. It is for the ELD. This happens to a lot of people. The 12V switched wire for the secondary O2 sensor is on the same circuit as the VSS.
Do the troubleshooting for the code 20 outlined in the Helms manual.
All you need to do is replace one fuse underneath the dash. The Helms manual will tell you which fuse it is.
Good luck.

PROBLEM FIXED. I looked on under the dash at the fuses. Looked on the guide chart on the cover. Took a look at the best possible one and choose 7.5 ALTERNATOR SP SENSOR. Looked at the fuse and it was BLOWN. replaced it and now everything works again. GOOD CALL GUYS.
Special Thanks to Kenji for prompt advice and and ob1 ecu + harness package. I will give a review when i have a chance to test and dyno it.
