Retard timing with TUNED ECU ?
I have my base timing set at 18 with the stock ECU. I'm about it install a tuned ECU (work with the Todas). Should I retard my base timing back to 16 - or keep it at 18?
This is a GodSpeed ECU.

Re: Retard timing with TUNED ECU ? (NAspecVX)
I would ask Dan @ Godspeed, Mugen recommends setting the timing at 16 degree when using there E.C.U.

I recommend 16 degrees to be safe. You can advance if you find there is benefit but usually there isn't and you risk chance of detonation in certain situations.
