Piston ring question....
I've search..... and learn some stuff but i still got 1 question
The stock one are 81.0 for all b-series
and there is a lot of search result about Oversize piston ring......81.5 i think
Did it came stock on some engen or it's al been replace form some reason...
I'm asking because i'll change my ring on my 98 spec JDM engen this month and I want malke sure il'll be getting the wright one....

Piston rings are matched to the piston diameter, which of course is matched to the bore diameter. If your installing oversize pistons then you need rings to match. OE size pistons require OE size rings.
Unless you bore the cylinders out to 81.5, use 81mm.
If you have a machine shop use an aggressive hone, measure ring gap and make adjustments as necessary.
If all of this sounds complicated, pay someone.

USDM and JDM piston ring are exacltly the same? if not... i guess ebay or h-t is the best place to get some in canada?
and ... OEM oversize are 81.25.... in what case do you end up with those.... to me OEM oversize sound ironic....

yes.
The oversize is for bottom end rebuilds where the bore is increased slightly (and to be used with the "rebuild" 81.25 pistons.
