sorry guys this is so
but this afternoon i was going through my "put my car back together" routine and forgot to plug the map sensor in and started my car
anyway i quickly remembered right after i turned it over and shut it off, i went to plug it in and now it's throwing me a CEL. anyone other then my stupid self end up doing this and end with a CEL? tried resetting the ecu thinking it's nothing but that's a no-go.
i'll check out the code in the morning, untill then can anyone enlighten me?

 

i would say just try to reset the ecu again... how did you do it last time?

Is the CEL for a MAP sensor problem??

 

not sure yet, i'll check it out in the morning. i removed the ecu fuse and put it back in to answer your question if that in fact is your question

 

I did something similar with the IAT sensor once. Started the car with it unplugged.
Turned car off, reconnected sensor, disconnected battery, had a smoke, reconnected battery, and no more CEL.

Maybe the MAP sensor is different. Good luck.
