Default Headgasket

My motor is at the merge of being done and im wanting to go with a thin headgasket but i dont want it to leak the car has a 100 shot of nitrous and my machine guy said to go with a thicker gaasket or something of a hard material cause theads going to be milled and make up for a thin gasket. whats a good one and suggestions. also he said to run an str fuel rail and tb is there any gains from this. thanks Greg

you don't need fuel rail, stock is fine, same for TB, just waiste of money you could use on something else. i know inline pro makes one but thats to lower compression and you'll probaly going to need cam gear anyway. anytime you don't match the height, you need cam gears so you get the right timing.

If the head is going to be milled, your machine work guy is telling you the trust. The point of a thinner head gasket is to essentially close the combustion gap (higher CR) If he's milling the head down, he's doing the same thing. You can do it either way.

using a thinner gasket is simply cheating, so you don't need to machine the block or head. if you're already doing that, just take a bit more off and use an OEM 3-ply headgasket
