Default lower compression

hey

i want to lower my compression for about 1,0 or so.

in my eu dm stocjk b18c6 engine there is 11.1:1 cr but with my supercharger i want a bit fewer cr.

when i use a cometic head gasket will i have to readjust cam timing then?

If you are getting a thicker headgasket that lowers your CR a whole point then yes i would get a set of adjustable cam gears to readjust cam timing.

Are you planning on using aftermarket forged pistons?

I think you should avoid using the head gasket, keep as much quench as possible, and take the chamber volume out of the dome of the piston instead.

believe it or not

lowering the CR for the supercharger is not what you want to do

if you build up the car right, you dont need to lower the CR

lowering CR with a supercharger like the jackson, doesnt react the same way as lowering the CR with a turbo kit

do more research, i dont know how to explain it well enough to prove my point without getting flamed
