Function7 LCA Install
I am about to install a set of Function7 LCA's on the R and I had some questions. I have attached a pic, I purchased new bolts however they seem not to fit (see pic). As well, on the stock R LCA's a nut is designed into the LCA, where as on the Function7 units, this is missing (see pic).
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Use a stainless flange nut to replace the lacking ones. I had the weld nut removed on my ITR LCA's to make it easier to remove/install that bolt.
As for the bolt size, don't the Function7 LCA's use a spherical bearing? Maybe you need an equivalently-sized imperical bolt instead of metric 10mm bolts. THat would be 3/8" (a hair smaller than 10mm).

you need to get longer bolts for the shock and sway bar attachment, you can prob source out some nuts from the front suspension ie front control arm.........the bolts do fit, you just have to work them in ...or you could get the 3/8's like the last guy said, but i trust oem bolts more.

I rather use OEM hardware so therefore, how can I get longer bolts, they are only available in one size.

Just find a local fastener supplier and see if they have the size bolt you need in a grade 8.

If you have to go through all that trouble to replace nuts and bolts, you might as well make sure you buy some locking nuts with the nylon inside - that way you won't have to worry about them coming loose due to vibration over time.....
