Default Function7 aftermarket ITR rear lower control arms

i just picked up a set of Funtion7 http://www.function-7.com/ itr rear lower arms. they are really really nice pieces! so far, i like what i see. thus far, the specs are pretty impressive. stock- 4lbs each, F7- 2.4 lbs. so, total weight reduction of 3.2 lbs of unsprung weight. they have oversized graphite impregnated bushings with aluminum sleeves.

one cool part is each arm has it's own engraved serial #. this is for warranty purposes, so F7 can attach each arm to a particular batch of aluminum stock. i like this, as it may help stop theft, as you can track each arm individually. granted it is not a super security feature like , say having a pitbull in the pass seat, but hey... ITR's need all the help they can get.

Those look really really nice. I didn't see a price on the site though. How much did you get them for if you don't mind my asking?

I have to wonder about the strength comparison between those and the stock pieces. They look nice and the weight saving is a plus.

How's the quality of the bushings? I personally think they would look nicer if they were solid (and beadblasted) but that's just me.

So, has anybody found any articles or official documentation yet about Honda designing the rear LCA to flex to help induce some oversteer in the ITR?

I stroked err touched them in person. They also actually look better in person (ricier)?

They are lighter than hell & don't really qualify as a proper paper weight.

Let's see if rodney doesn't break them. That'll be a true test.

didn't David @ SMS mention something about these having poor bushing geometry/ design? If that's the case, them possibly some spherical bushings would be in order.....

those were the civic arms, which had a bend in them. the itr arms are staright, as i compared them side by side and made sure i wasn;t f'ing up the geometry intalling them.

Exactly. I did the same thing when I got my F7's for the R.

I noticed the handling did not really change much...much as in no wild push or funky oversteer conditions.

These look just like they would fit the jdm rear break conversion i got for my 93 hatch. Does anyone know if the lcms on jdm civic with rear discs and R are the same? Thanks, Jason
