coilover install
ok guys, so i install my ground controls in today and everything is going good. three wheels done and going to the last one, the right rear side. thought it was gonna be just like the others. but when i go to take out the bolt that holds the bottom, the bolt breaks. and i can't get the damn thing out. this has happened to two of my friends. same side and with integras. just wanted to see if you all could help, cause i don't want to waste money taking it to a shop.
dam why is it alwasy the right rear lca bolts. i just went thru the exact same thing you did. for me i just bought a new lca 'cause i kinda fucked up the bushings taking out the lca bolts, but if you can drill out bolts then you dont need to replace the lca. if its stuck then you can also saw off the bolts and remove the entire lca and then try to hammer out the bolt w/ a screwdriver. like i said i kinda messed up my bushings so just replaced the lca.
if its a choice b/w taking it to a shop or buying a new lca, i'd just get the new lca and bolts. good luck.

Maybe its always the right rear LCA bolt b/c the exhaust piping runs near that bolt, so its constantly getting heated? That add in some rain and heat and it just stimulates the corrosion?
This is all just me trying to reason it out. I have no idea if that is the reason.
