Default engine light

id normally post this in the tech, but you guys know more than the gay *** ricer kids in here. i have an ek hatch with a jdm b18c gsr motor, and this morning while the motor was still cold my check engine light came on. I dropped it off at home 10 mins later and drove a different car and got home and started her up agian. the light was on. after dicking with the coolant for awhile(added more water to the coolant) i waited started it up again, and no light, so i drove it for like 15 mins and then the light came on again. any ideas of what the problem may be?? if there is more coolant than water can this happen?? or if there is too much of both?? let me know so i can make it down to the dyno day this time hopefully, thanks in advance

When the CEL comes on, that is an indication that something is wrong. By jumping the service connector, you get a readout of the code, or codes. There is an explanation of how to do this in the 'how to' section of http://www.c-speedracing.com/

Here's the link you want to follow: Read this page!!

Check the code.
We can't help you much without a code.

Mugen N1 ECU should have no bearing on you throwing a code.
