The JDM spec H22A we swapped into an accord read 235 across all 4. We did a B16A2 that read 190 across all 4...little on the low side?...what does everyone think of this number for the B?
thanks.

I have one of those crappy push in type testers, and got 205 on 3 of them and 200 on 1 of them.
Interesting.......and I did follow the directions on how to do the test, will check again with oil tomarrow, and maybe get a better tester

My 2001 ITR with a Spoon 2-ply head gasket is reading 235 across the board. I thought it would be higher. I didn't read the compression before the gasket my bad ... How much compression is expected with CTR pistons ?? What about oversized CTR pistons ?? Anybody know ??

my crappy b16 read 275-280 all across........but its got a couple things

the key is to have consistent readings....no more than 10-15% variance across . good luck

The design of tester itself can play a large factor in what the actual readings are. Just make sure the readings are close to each other as has already been stated!

Anywhere from 200 to 230 seems to be the range that most people are getting.
