Code cleared after about two weeks?

Is this normal? I had Code 67 for Secondary O2 out of range and after about two weeks of the check engine light being on, I started the car one morning and it was off. Any ideas? Is there some length of time the ECU retains codes; or is it able to clear them somehow?

did u happen to disconnect your battery latly? that could have done it.. but should come back on soon mabye if the problem is still there

It'll come back. The code may have gone away, but the problem is still there and it will throw a CEL again for the same thing.

My caR does it too.

Wll the car go into any type of limp mode however? Ive never noticed anything....yet.

No limp mode, however the code will come and go... the ecu will turn the light off if the problem isn't detected within a certain number of driving cycles.
