Default Bogging issue

Good morning all,

I'm having this bogging issue with my 2000 type R w/ a JRSC. The car was running just fine, until recently. The bogging happens often between shifts and at low speed. I cant seem to figure out what is causing it. I replaced the battery recently because the old battery was leaking and my assuming was that the build up of acid on the positive (+) terminal was causing it, but with that problem fixed, I'm still having this issue. Any thought?

Thanks

If you are running 2 steps colder spark plugs, check for carbon build up and also double check the gapping. Double check all vac lines for tightness. GL

Thank you,

Does anyone know what the gap is suppose to be on 2 step colder spark plugs, I cant recall it or if that is what I'm running. The perks of having a JRSC, constant maintenance!

I will check everything hopefully this week.

My is gapped at .032"
General rule is don't go too wide if you are running stock ignition or else you may have some misfire at high RPM.

Thank you for the assistance, I removed each spark plug and cleaned them up and re-gapped them to .032, they were a lot less. At the same time I also cleaned the IACV. One or the other or both solved the bogging issue. Thank you again
