Default problem after installing new plugs

i was running the stock plugs on my 01 prelude for a few months after it was turboed... 2 days ago i had it dyno-tuned on 8psi and the shop recommended i go with the NGK 3330 1step colder plug... now whenever the car sits for a long time and cools off it hesitates for little bit when i get back in and drive it and then after it warms up it runs great... any idea why this is? thanks for your help

Did you/they check the gap of the plugs before installing them?
